Planning for my Music Video

 The song that will be featured in my music video is Money Money Money by ABBA. It's genre is a musical, so most of the video will be me lip-syncing the lyric to have the appearance that I am singing. For the dancing, I will be doing very theatrical gestures and expressions.

Props: Most of the props that will be included in the video will be "rags and riches." For example, I plan on having a shot where it seems like it will be raining money. So, I will be using Monopoly money for that scene. There is one lyric of the song saying that the character must find a wealthy man. During this line, I want to use binoculars as an overdramatic way of looking for my wealthy man.

Costumes: My costumes will have the same effect as the props idea: rags to riches. In the beginning, I will have dirty clothes, or cheap clothes to suggest that I have had a long day at work. Later on, I will switch to a fancy dress as a way to say that I want to be rich. Accessories are also a really important part of the costume. For example, when I am in the fancy dress, I plan to have a big fur coat and expensive sunglasses, and more accessories that create the stereotypical rich person.

Schedule: 

- 11/19/20: I will be working on my story board and sketching out my scenes.

- 11/20/20: This day, I will be finishing the last touches of my story board and fixing up the drawings. I will then upload the blog describing each scene in depth.

-11/23/20: I will be doing my first day of filming on this day. I plan to to the first few scenes, and if I have time, to do more scenes. 

-11/25/20: That day will be finishing up the last scenes of the video. 

-11/29/20: I will reviewing what scenes to be reshot. I will be fixing up any mistakes I made from the last two days of filming.

-11/30/20: I will be uploading my filming blog and describing how the process went. 

-12/1-->12/2/20: These days will be me editing all the clips together and trimming my song to the right length. 

-12/3/30: The editing blog is due and I will describe what happened while I was editing. 

-12/8/30: I will post my music video in one of my blog posts. 

Location: I will shoot my video in two locations: my room, and the club house in my apartment complex. My room will be mostly the location in the beginning of the video when the song describes about me complaining about how broke I am. The club room looks very prestigious and a great place to shoot my video when the song plays the part about me being wealthy.

Backup Plan: If something does not go according to my schedule, I have let plenty of days before the filming blog is due, so I can manage my time and days better.

  My name is Sasha Grivas and I am a student at Fort Lauderdale High School. I am a junior and this is my first year in Media Studies. I don't have any personal experience with doing film or any type of media before. However, I have learned so much knowledge so far this year about different shots, angles, movements, and genres. I have started to enjoy doing media, such as filming, editing, directing, etc. After doing some filming projects, I feel a lot more comfortable with filming. My name is Sasha Grivas and I am a junior at Fort Lauderdale High School. Some interests that I enjoy are skateboarding, swimming, and knitting. I joined my first swim team when I was at a young age, around 6 years old, and have been swimming since. Swimming has always come natural to me, it wasn't a very difficult sport, but it still challenged and pushed me to become better. My favorite stroke is butterfly, even though it is the hardest one to do, in my opinion.
