For most of the opening sequence, it shows the actors' names and what role they play in the movie. After that, they show the casting director, designer, , and editing. They also include producers, photography, the writers, and the creators of the characters.

What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?                                                                             Throughout the whole sequence, it shows a pumpkin on the left side of the screen. However, the pumpkin started all moldy, rotted, and almost decomposed. But throughout the sequence, it slowly started going back to a regular jack-o-lantern. The background was black, and the only other colors were orange for the pumpkin, and a yellowish-orange for the words of the credits.

What connotations do these images carry?                                                                                               Both the colors of the sequence and the pumpkin represent something. The pumpkin mostly symbolizes the Halloween holiday. It is common for people to make jack-o-lanterns during Halloween. The reverse decomposition how Michael Myers comes back to kill again. 
4. How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset?                                                         The colors black and orange help establish the feeling of the film. Black and orange are colors that represent Halloween. The color black could symbolize a lot of things, like a bad omen, death, and how so many bad things happen in the dark. The orange is part of the pumpkin and how it is part of the scary holiday. The theme song also helps establish the movie. It is the theme song that plays whenever Michael Myers shows up during the movie and is used to connotate that something bad might happen.
5. What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience?                                                 Most horror film take place around the time of the Halloween season. As it is the name of the movie, it targets those who enjoy horror movies. The cover of the movie also ensures the film appeals to a specific audience. As shown above, the Michael Myers mask takes up the whole picture. This shows that the movie is about him and the scratches and scars on it suggest that it is old. This could mean that the movie takes place years later after his first killing spree.
6. How has technology been used effectively? You want to consider camera angles, transitions and editing techniques.                                                                                                                                      The reverse decomposition suggests something abnormal or out of place. The editing of it gives the effect of a creepy feeling.
