Title Research: Watch the Titles Website

 



This website is called Watch the Titles. It provides a variety of different title sequences from different forms of media. There are films, video games, tv shows, and more. There are also events made on the website, student projects, and even French films. When you click on one of the title sequences, it shows you a video of it. I watched a couple of them, mostly the ones films or shows I have watched before. Below the video, the website provides an interview with the director of the title sequence. There is also information about the film, such as, the director, years of production, the design, etc. There is also a short summary about the film and explains what it is about. On the top of the website, there are categories, designers and studios. This takes you to a list of the different designers of the website and some who made the projects. The studio category shows you what kind of studio programs they used to make the title sequences.

  My name is Sasha Grivas and I am a student at Fort Lauderdale High School. I am a junior and this is my first year in Media Studies. I don't have any personal experience with doing film or any type of media before. However, I have learned so much knowledge so far this year about different shots, angles, movements, and genres. I have started to enjoy doing media, such as filming, editing, directing, etc. After doing some filming projects, I feel a lot more comfortable with filming. I am not as stressed as I would be, since I have had some practice throughout the year. For the final task, I have decided to do the project by myself. Personally, I work better alone. It is easier for me to decide on an idea that I like, instead of arguing with a partner on a pitch. For the next couple of months, I will also be out of state because of my mom's work. My name is Sasha Grivas and I am a junior at Fort Lauderdale High School. Some interests that I enjoy are skateboarding, swimming, and knitting. I joined my first swim team when I was at a young age, around 6 years old, and have been swimming since. Swimming has always come natural to me, it wasn't a very difficult sport, but it still challenged and pushed me to become better. My favorite stroke is butterfly, even though it is the hardest one to do, in my opinion. I participated in districts last year, and I was in the butterfly set, and even though I hadn't qualified for regional, the experience has made me want to do better the next time.With practice and training, I've been able to push myself to swim faster. Skateboarding is a hobby I like to do when I want to go someplace by myself. I cannot drive yet, so I need some form of transportation to get me places.
