Production Blog: Finishing the Final Task

By today, most of my final task is finished. I already finished the editing of all the clips. I trimmed all of them to the correct length. I included transitions between the clips. I also added all of the appropriate music and sound effects in the film. The only thing I need to finish is putting all the titles in it. I originally wanted a sort of slimy-looking font for the titles. However, I couldn't find it on the editing app. So I used Courier New, which looks like typewriter font. I made the text white, because it was the best color that wouldn't blend in with the background. I made it bold, too, so it would be easier to read. I was a little confused on the order of the titles. But I found the correct order and organized all the titles together. I had planned to add a lot more titles in the film. I was going to have the film switch screens back and forth from a scene to a credit. But, I realized that would take up too much time and I wouldn't have much time for the actual scenes. I couldn't even include all of the scenes I had in my storyboard. So, I only added the necessary titles such as, production, music, story, actors, etc. I tried to spread the titles out evenly throughout the film. I had to make some shorter than others to match the speed of the film. For example, during the chase scene, the tempo was fast and I had to make the titles last shorter to add to the effect. If the titles were there longer, it would disrupt the intensity of the film.
