Production Blog: Music
For a couple of days I have been searching for music and sound. I need to find background scary music for my film. I am planning to play a specific tune every time the killer is on screen or close by. This is common in most horror movies that I have watched. It helps add the suspense and gives a little bit of foreshadowing for the audience. I am using the Royalty Free Music website. It has a variety of different tunes for different genres. It also has a lot of different sound effects, which is something I will use. I am still debating on which tune I should use. I am also still looking for more to see if there is a better one. The sound effects are very useful and make it easier for me. I do not have to spend time recording my own effects. The website has different screams, killing sounds, and bushes rustling. I have to make an account on my Mac book, since that will be the computer I will be editing. The Mac has iMovie, which is the app I use to put the film together. I am planning on finishing filming by next week. My mom has to drive me over to the place where I need to film. She will be out of town for the weekend. But it will only take me one or two days to finish filming. For the rest of the week, I will finish up editing, too.
